Even Stone directing could make it work into something very memorable. What do you mean before he lost his mind? I might be out of the loop regarding news about Stone. Hollycontrarywood obviously feel Milius lost his mind because of his politics, that is why he has in a sense been ostracised. Stone's kind of paid lip service to conspiracy theorists as of late. You'd think it'd make his last few movies good but no. Stone has always been fond of espousing conspiracy theories. I myself don't dismiss them entirely, especially where the corrupt and self-serving establishment is concerned. I would rather know another slant on something and have some inkling of awareness of what is going on in the corridors of control and power, rather than bury my head in the sand and accept what we are told by the media. Playing the fool, doesn't always mean one is the joker.
