Child’s Play is a remake of the 1988 horror film of the same name. I thought it was good, but not as good as the original. I thought it was great for its own version.
The performances were good and I thought the cliche robot out of control idea was a great way to introduce Chucky. Chucky in this movie reminded me of Uber Jason from Jason X.
I also liked that everyone knows that the doll was responsible for everything that happened instead of blaming the main character just like in the original franchise.
Mark Hamill did a great job and I thought Chucky was pretty cool controlling everything. I can’t wait to watch a sequel and see what else they will include.
