Compared to the characters from TFA and any Star Wars movie they're completely forgettable characters. Most won't remember more than a couple of the characters names. Truth. I can name Jyn. That's it. Can't name one other damn character that came out of that movie. Really? I have numerous criticisms of Rogue, but I thought they did "okay" (not great, not terrible) with name introductions. Like, I pretty much knew everyone's name except the Guardians, and they gave their names too -- just, only once or twice for each, I believe, and quickly. And the pilot who defected, I guess; did he have an actual name that given in (and relevant to) the story? Not sure. I'd give it a passing, if not stellar, grade on this front. |
