I don't know about the current form of the American team but Mexico needed penalties to beat Costa Rica in the quarterfinals and overtime to (barely) beat Haiti in the semifinals, so I certainly wouldn't discount the possibility of then losing to their fierce northern rivals - wouldn't be the first time! Worth a punt on the US&A women to win the World Cup, and the men to win this shindig, do you reckon? Odds on that double are 4/1. I guess so. I haven't seen any of the games, but based purely on the results so far, I'd say that the USA has a pretty good chance of beating Mexico - and of course the American women are clearly the favourites to win the World Cup.
