I still say the most important factor in these last few matches will be the toss. I accept that early wickets can be had by sending the opposition in first, but all remaining teams except NZ have strong top orders. Dismissing them would be nice but the trend this WC has been to see the top order out and work on what’s left. Australia have survived many times by defending relatively modest scores even with century opening stands in response.
