On the importance of the toss: it's been a strange tourney. England and India, on paper, should be strong chasing teams with good closers. Oz and NZ in theory aren't good chasing teams. Bat first and restrict with your bowlers. However England are 6-0 batting first and 0-3 batting second with only one of those losses being a challenging total. Oz and NZ have followed a similar pattern to England. India seem pretty comfortable either way. I think they have the best rounded team of anyone.
While NZ aren't that good, Australia can be batted out of games and England can be bowled out of them, India have a set up that gives them a chance in any situation.
