Why didn't they try to re-create Titanic's success? Pearl Harbor came 4 years later. Harry Potter was a corporation-created "success." It wasn't audience-created. The studios have money. It was different in the 1960s when you had many smaller companies which might pay attention to trends (lots of spy movies).
They selected Rowling and Potter to be the corporate artist and character for a new globalist media enterprise. It's a UK version of Luke Skywalker except he is more inept. Wouldn't be surprised if Rowling does a novel sequel where Harry goes tranny or Muslim or both.
