Ooooooh, Cary Fukunaga would be great. Also, David Fincher. The Question is the sort of character that could bring out that kind of edgy darkness that directors like that are good for.
As for the actor... I'd prefer someone lesser known. After all the Question is behind a faceless mask 90% of the time.

Yes David Fincher is a great one as well. Zodiac is one of my favorites of all time. I would agree with a lesser known actor as well now that you say it. More of a Jackie Earle Haley in Watchmen. Because they got Tom Hardy to hide behind a mask for all of TDKR and idk how you feel about that, but it seemed to rub a lot of other people the wrong way from who I’ve spoken to. That’s why I like the idea of Gabriel Macht. He has the superhero experience but it didn’t make a name for himself (The Spirit), he’s a pretty good actor, and he has the look and the voice. I only said Fincher because apparently he's been sniffing around for something a little more fantastic than what he usually does. He was all set to do World War Z part 2, only god knows why! I think he and Brad Pitt have a thing, LOL! But Finch will probably never happen. It'll be some much lesser known, far less talented director.
