You should've made that a rule in your OP, admit it. So 19 people understand the game with no problem and 1 gets cute. Fine. So pick every band with The and use T for every one to get the list over with instead of thinking. It either sticks out like a sore thumb, or everyone gets cute. The game is only good when it's not too hard and not too easy. I felt that I picked a topic that hit that, but then someone wanted to make it easy. I wouldn't have an issue if someone used either E or J for Elton John, for example. Add it back, fine. And by the way, the Beatles had no song called "Try" Er, I was not trying to make it easy. I love this game, don´t get me wrong. I just did not know that "the" should not be used in the title, and that´s why I got surprised! Try is a song by Pink and The Beatles is a band. The latest game is to have the artist and the song to begin with the same latter, correct? Although it seems like you actually mean having the same artist and said artist´s song to start with the same first letter?? If that´s the case, you really need to make the rules clear and actually go ahead and erase all of my efforts. Il Divo is a band, but their song is certainly not I just called to say I love you, because that one is Stevie Wonder´s etc. So, I beg you pardon, I seem to have misunderstood your intentions. |
