Tower of Terror for when I want to be freaked out, and the Peter Pan Ride. I can never ride TOT twice in a row or I'll get queasy though. Test Track is a lot of fun at Epcot. I've never been to Disney land, would like to check out Indiana Jones.
TOT is absolutely one of the best uses of themed space I know. The ride mechanism is actually inferior, though still fun, to the theming, which is incredible. One truly believes that one has entered a movie, or even a real abandoned hotel (it's so eerie--eerily beautiful, as much as that term is overused). Absolutely amazing. That is why I was
so very disappointed that the Disney Company closed the one in California to make way for a ridiculous
Guardians of the Galaxy ride, and why I am praying that they don't make the same foolish, money-grubbing mistake in Florida, with its superior version.
Peter Pan is a classic, as you note.
Test Track is great fun, though I wish they'd kept the prior theming, which was more in-depth.
I've only been to Disneyland once in my life, when I was in the area for another reason and had a day to spare. Indy is absolutely one of the best rides Disney ever created. It's like Dinosaur at Animal Kingdom, only more fun and less twisty (Dinosaur takes a toll on your neck!), and beautifully themed. It truly transports the rider on an adventure, just as TOT, HM, and PotC do too.
Anyone else interested in joining in? Themed attractions have obvious similarities to films (as probably made most evident by Disney Hollywood Studios and Universal Studios).
EDIT: I'll also add that I'm a great fan of Disneyland's absolutely bonkers Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, if only for the wacky ending, in which
the rider goes to hell!
