2010 is my favorite overall year of the current decade...
1.The American - 9/10 (NOTE: this is THE lowest rated movie on IMDb (it's got a 6.3/10 average) that I give a 9/10 or higher)
2.True Grit - 8-8.5/10
3.Edge of Darkness - 8/10
4.The Book of Eli - 7.5-8/10

7.Machete - 7/10

NOTE: while there are years that have a higher volume of movies I score a 7 or higher in the current decade, where the year 2010 shines is it's the deepest in terms of movies I score a 7.5-8/10 or higher @ six movies where as the next closest would be 2011 with five and after that nothing else exceeds two at the most.
