I respectfully disagree. The similar sport which requires you to move while keeping control of the ball, playing defense and learning how to score from a multitude of angles actually requires more skill. I might be inclined to agree with you when the best athletes start playing netball instead of basketball.

I wasn't talking about the overall skills but skills of shooting because of absence of blackboard.

Sometimes we can't grasp everything about a sport by just taking high level view. I believe you may not have seen enough of netball to judge it properly. Although everyone is free to have a subjective opinion on what requires more skills. The 3 second rule makes netball a very unique sports primarily because it demands a lot more coordination and team work than similar sports. Basketball has its own different set of skills that is unique to it. One can say running game and dribbling will be unique selling point of basketball.
