Is 'Call Me By Your Name' really a masterpiece about "love"?

To me Call Me By Your Name was amazing for many reasons. The acting, the visuals, the intenrationality of it, the music, but also the way it ended and how it developed.
Not your typical teenage love story. Gotta give it that. It kinda transcended typical boundaries and I am not talking about the gay aspect of it.
Plus it had a certain level of tenderness that I dont find often in movies.
9/10 from me.
My original thoughts posted above remain, but my overall opinion has changed a lot since then. I’ve found plenty to enjoy here, it’s visually one of the most pleasing movies I’ve ever seen for starters. Recently rewatched Moonlight as well. I prefer this one much, much more.
