Is 'Call Me By Your Name' really a masterpiece about "love"?

Plus they did get a fair amount of talking done too.
To me Call Me By Your Name was amazing for many reasons. The acting, the visuals, the intenrationality of it, the music, but also the way it ended and how it developed.
Not your typical teenage love story. Gotta give it that. It kinda transcended typical boundaries and I am not talking about the gay aspect of it.
Plus it had a certain level of tenderness that I dont find often in movies.
9/10 from me.
And also added to the well known fact, that gay people DO NOT have as big as a pond to fish in and when someone does find somebody that they mutally desire, are on the same wavelength and considering that Elio was almost an adult and the age gap narrows as one grows older, there was a natural and genuine quality to how this relationship evolved. Oliver was also living up to the expectations of others and I'd say he would have ended up quite unhappy with his choices. Elio had the loving support of his parents.
How would attitudes have played out, if Oliver was a 24yr old hot female seducing a 17yr old boy. Yeah man! He scored!
