"Call Me By Your Name" is a movie we have seen many times before: a young person (almost always a male) who, over the course of a summer has his first romance, first sex, and first heartbreak, ushering in his adulthood. In addition, director Luca Guadagnino continues his theme - and even the setting of vacation land in northern Italy - from his previous film "A Bigger Splash," which is the follies of the rich and famous with a great cast but not to much point.
