There was an episode of Criminal Minds named that, some years back, and the episode dealt with a severely emotionally damaged woman. I looked it up, back in the day, so I know it has to do with psychology.
Edit: The episode had to do with a mentally disturbed woman who was using human beings to replace a set of dolls she had cherished as a child.
