I'd argue that there's a good bit of fun in Watchmen, the original book. The Snyder movie is largely Snyderish bullshit.

I'm up for giving it a shot. I didn't completely appreciate what they did with Preacher, as I said. Believe it or not the series is rather tame and quite slow compared to the books which are fucking wild. But I have no previous familiarity with The Boys as a comic series so I'll go in with a clean slate. I watched and enjoyed The Umbrella Academy, which is fucking weird too. So I'm up for weird as long as it's good.

Watchmen the comic is great. Watchmen the film is something else entirely. I don't hate it, but I watch it and I think Snyder somehow missed the point of the book. I've never read or seen Preacher, but the ads I've seen for the show look bonkers. I'll have to check out Umbrella Academy, I've heard mixed reviews on that one.
