At the very worst, they're saying "This is still great to watch, just not an incredible as the first film." Expected, since the first one was a unexpectedly massive critical and commercial success. "Great to watch" is dramatically overselling what they're actually saying. They are meaning exactly what they are saying Dennis. They aren't saying omg this movie is awful and avoid it all costs. like you're making it out to be.
