How many rings does JD have? How Many does "5,4,3" have. All Jim Rice did was pad his stats and hit into double plays. Fred Lynn was a better player than Rice. That's the truth so jd is your guy? Neither. He will opt out after the end of the season and run off the the Dodgers or somewhere else. Rice was the poster boy for the all power, no pitching or speed Sox teams of the late 70-80's that underachieved. Rice had many more year and was a Sox for his whole career, but JD has a ring.
