I love the 'self imposed' penalties that Universities place on themselves and find it comical ...
as if to say....
'See NCAA! We're Sorry and we're punishing ourselves!' - i.e. they knew they were going to get caught and are hoping for some leniency.
(And I'm not a proponent of a lot of the NCAA's ridiculous rules/violations)
