Best Melville movie anyone?

If I can only pick one, I will have to go with "Bob Le Flambeur" (1955) which was the first Melville I saw (and loved) and for its influence on the upcoming French New Wave and on the "caper" film where a mastermind puts together a team.

If I could choose three - a holy trinity, say - I would have to list them as:

But then, I am also very fond of:
