Save the Tiger - 7.5/10.
Probably the best of the "American dream gone wrong" films. Jack Lemmon, a believer in American ideals and proud veteran of WW2, wrestles with the decision to commit arson to save his failing business in 1970s LA. One of Lemmon's best performances and one that got him an Oscar. Jack Guilford delivers a remarkable performance as his more conscientious partner.
Not the highest budget and the nostalgic talk of the past is repetitious, but a fine film.
