I'll put it out there. I'm disappointed Spiderman 3 went over Rise of the Silver Surfer. Both the early Fantastic Four movies swung for the shortstop and that's where they landed. Spiderman 3's the better movie I dislike more.
I walked away thinking I dislike this film because of what it did right on its own terms. It didn't suffer from bad direction or acting; I thought it did a good job with a displeasing conclusion. Upon further review, it was better than I remembered right up until Peter started being a jerk to Mary Jane.
