Drugs are illegal for a reason and it is in the public interest. Yes, that reason is money and lobbyists. Big Pharma, tobacco, alcohol, and the privatized prisons make profits from keeping them illegal, so they spend millions (probably billions actually) lobbying to protect their interests.
I happen to think that marijuana should be legalised, for one.
I am just debating with someone ( hopefully you have read his thought on the subject of psychedelics posted recently) of the dangers of stuffing up you mind and body with illegal drugs which by their very nature are uncontrolled in terms if dosage, quality, authenticity and provenance. You are aware that he claimed that he actually saw God, right?
