Last night's final episode was a bit disappointing. I didn't like the scene where Joan sees Hedda, Jack, and Bette again. It seemed like it was just a filler scene. But anyway, now that the series has ended, I want to see how it's going to fare at the Emmys later this year. Sure, the finale was more of a wrap up than a big exciting twist or a breathtaking ending. I think the series was more about the journey than the ending. Both ladies were more similar than they would ever admit. It was hinted at that both women were chewed up and used (Hagsploitation) via Hollywood Studios and it had a negative effect on their later lives and families. It was a slow burn, but I did enjoy it quite a bit. It definitely is not for everyone. I understand why people would get bored.
