My mom is cold-blooded, Queen of the Reptiles. Even in the dead of Winter, Mom will have the CA turned to around 58 degrees. Fahrenhet. And at least, if not four, box fans blowing all over bedroom. My dad, sister and myself haad to put on our winter coats, with gloves and mufflers and gloves ion order to not get overly cold. But the bottomline is that whenever you entered Mom's bedroom, and got to sseall that steamed breath,you saw your hot breath. It was unervving. It was the way things were... Sounds like your mom is going through menopause, those hot flashes can be terrible, when I went through it, I had my windows open in January in Chicago and was sweating profusely!!!! After I got on hormones, the hot flashes disappeared.
