Do you remember a fellow by the name of Tarkin, who was the main villain before Vader graduated from glorified henchman and the Emperor was even introduced? What happened to that guy, his army, and his entire base? Something about a farmboy destroying all of them with no military or flight experience except...uh...shooting at rats in the desert? I guess space magic works in mysterious ways...but it's extra mysterious when it's a girl, of course. Aaaand Rey got NO explanation for her abilities.
