Would be nice. I remember when they were elite all of those years under Spurrier. I love when the SEC is loaded and every week is a backyard brawl. Was just reading up on them - apparently they lost 4 O-Lineman - but are still ranked pretty high - curious to see if those new O-Lineman can pass protect for Franks and open up gaps for Perine. The inexperienced offensive line is by far the biggest concern, I hope they can gel quickly and be a solid unit, but everywhere else the Gators are strong, we have lots of experience and talent at WR and RB, Franks should continue to improve, he finished very strong last season, and the defense is loaded with talent, especially in the secondary, and our special teams unit is arguably the best in CFB. I think the Gators should have a great team this year, this is the best I’ve felt about them going in to a season in a long time. Think they have a shot of coming out of the SEC East instead of Georgia? Only other team getting a little bit of respect in the East is Mizzou who some have at the backend of the Top 25. South Carolina got 15 votes in the AP Poll. Kentucky seems to have fallen off - wasn't it last year where they were ranked pretty high for a few weeks - i.e. inside the Top 15? It's typically the weaker of the two divisions.
