I am a major Highlander fan!!! This is my second favorite television show ever (the original star trek takes first place). I like the flash backs to the past; the way that characters and even MacLeod's katana has a back story. I like the multi-layered stories, the connections between the characters, loved the horsemen, Methos, the watchers and this show had the best romantic couple on tv (Duncan and Tessa).
