The faster it's clear who an announcer/team is rooting for, the worse they are. I hate idiots who say things like "We'll take that double play right now," or only talk about the home team. A professional would barely let his rooting enter his call or analysis. I have no problem with a team’s broadcasters being biased for that team. Broadcasters not affiliated with a team shouldn’t be biased, but broadcasters that are should root for the team they call for IMO. If I liked the team, I'd be completely turned off by that. It would be great if the MLB network would use the feed of the less biased broadcast team for their nationally televised games, or show a different game.
