I bought it too despite knowing how bad it was. I can get past a few levels because I know them so well. Anyone playing it for the first time would have a lot of trouble though.
It's a perfect example of just because you can do something doesn't mean you should. I think I read somewhere the best Doom port on a early '90s console was on The 3DO and I think that still hard borders on the screen.
