None could be anymore horrendous than the one and only:  Joan Crawford should not have ever had children. After six or seven miscarriages/abortions, she should have left bad enough alone! Yes, that is a telling sign, but we know she only adopted for publicity. I do wonder if she did have her own biological children, how they would have been treated.
