"I should have killed myself when he first put it in me..." Poor Carrie. Definitely a day when she should have stayed in bed. I don't even know if Carrie would have been safe in her bed with that crazy woman for a mother. She had the power and even if Carrie hadn't experienced any tragic incident at the prom and had a lovely time, Margaret was intent on not allowing a witch to live. Poor kid was doomed regardless.
