See, when Mulder and Scully left, so did I. I didn't watch much of 8 or 9. I didn't watch any of 24. The three episodes that Chris Carter wrote were EASILY the worst episodes of the season. Babylon might have been the worst of the series. Both of the My Struggle 1 & 2 were the worst bookends of any season I saw of the Xfiles. He has been the problem of the revival, and I hope they keep him away. I want to see more Wong or Morgan episodes. I'm a huge fan so I stayed until the bitter end. Season 8 isn't bad, but season 9 is terrible. Carter is a problem. I'm glad he created the show, it's a great show, but he's done it as much harm as he has good. Well said. That is why I made the comparison to Lucas. I appreciate Lucas for what he created. But the prequels, IMO, were terrible. I feel the same about Carter. He just needs to step back and let Morgan(s) or Wong become the Kathleen Kennedy of X-Files. |
