Barbara Walters - senile?

She was already losing it with some of her picks for that annual Top 10 most fascinating people of the year list in recent years.  I think one year for 2014 the top pick for her was George Clooney's wife Amal Clooney.  George Clooney's wife?  Really?  The reason being was that she was finally able to get dedicated bachelor Clooney to settle down.  So just for doing that this makes her the most fascinating person of the year over so many other people?
