So you are seriously trying to tell me what I think?
I don't even know what stuff you are talking about being dated. The score or the songs? Both are great imo.
Do you mean the jazz theme? That isn't even dated.
I’m not telling you how to think. I think it’s hilarious that I say the soundtrack is dated and caused me to hate the movie and multiple people take it as a personal attack.
Think what you want. I think it sucks.
I respect your opinion in that you think the music sucks... There is all kind of music out there. Most people won't like everything...
But, calling the music from 40 (or so) years ago "dated" is just an absolute BS comment... Because NO MOVIE can ever be made FUTURE PROOF! It was IMPOSSIBLE for "Lethal Weapon" to have music from TODAY, because it wasn't even created yet!... It's always going to be an absolute fact, that if you watch a "40" year old movie, that you are always going to hear music from at least 40 Year ago!
SO... older movies can NOT be "dated" for having music that was only available, at the time the movie was made!...
If you believe other wise, then every movie ever made, or will ever be made, will always be 'Dated" and therefor, the term has no meaning! So stop using it!
