Hope you're feeling better, Deb.

My niece's birthday party is coming up, too. She'll be 3 in a couple of weeks, and she's already ordered her birthday cake that she wants me to make; a blue chocolate cake with lots of candy on.
A Polar Blast doesn't sound nice.
Last year we had an unusually hot and dry summer here in Norway, but this year it's been going back and forth between hot as hell, and cold and rainy with lots of thunderstorms.
Last year we had an unusually hot and dry summer here in Norway, but this year it's been going back and forth between hot as hell, and cold and rainy with lots of thunderstorms. We used to get most of the popular American TV shows on TV here (and we do still get a few), but a couple of years ago some TV channels decided to focus more on their own self-produced crap rather than continue airing American shows. Which meant that all the CW shows I watched (like The 100, The Flash, Supernatural etc) suddenly disappeared from the TV screens. It seems that most of those shows (along with almost everything else of interest) have ended up on streaming services instead, though. As a result I watch a lot less TV than I used to, as most of the things that I want to watch are only available on streaming or on dvd. The 100 I have to buy new seasons of on dvd now, as that's quicker than waiting for it to become available on Netflix. I'm impatiently waiting for season 6 to be released on dvd.
Yes, I knew Arrow was ending with season 8. I haven't watched Arrow since mid-season 4 or something, though. I was just starting to lose a bit of interest for it. The only Arrowverse show I watch regularly is Legends of Tomorrow. I do plan to catch up on The Flash and Supergirl at some point, though.
I really enjoyed season 5 of Agents of SHIELD, too. That's another show I have to buy on dvd, and I want season 6 now, damnit!
No, I haven't heard of those Spiderverse TV shows. Sounds cool, though. I'll keep an eye out for them and see if they end up on streaming here.
I can't say I'm pleased that Lyta is back from the dead in Krypton. Bah! But, I guess it doesn't matter now, since there won't be a season 3. I was sad to hear they'd cancelled the show.
They've apparantly scrapped their plans for the Lobo spinoff, too.

Thank you Hirundo. No. It is never fun having the flu and I am really not a fan of winter and can't wait until it is over and we only have less than a week to wait until spring is here but I have heard we have a cold front on the way coming from another state and it is going to be cold and windy again and that is the last thing any of us want here after the Polar Blast which was not nice at all
and I swear every winter has been getting colder lately and I am getting the flu more often than I used to. It sounds weird hearing about boiling hot and dry summers with winter here and I would probably prefer that over freezing cold days but we have had some sunny and warm days over the past week which have been nice for a change and if it is a sign of spring to come I will happily embrace it. What you described with hot weather and storms is very similar to what we had here last December and a few Christmas events got cancelled 'cause of the storms and the 'Carols in the Domain' which we go to nearly every year with my Sister and her family came close to being cancelled too and rain always ruins things and we will have plana ro so a lot of stuff outside and won't be able to do anything.

That is nice about your niece and I hope she has a good birthday with you and we just had my youngest niece spend the weekend with us and we took her out to a few places and saw 'A Dog's Journey' which is the third movie in the 'A Dog's Purpose' franchise and 'A Dog's Way Home' came out earlier this year and we took her to see that and enjoyed it too. I love a lot of cute animal movies especially the ones like 'Buddies' where they talk and go on adventures together but some are sad and are hard to watch again and the first time we watched 'Hachi: A Dog's Tale' we thought it was going to be a happy and fun movie with a nice ending and I cried through that and can't watch it again.
We can't watch the 'Beverly Hills Chihuahua' movies again here either 'cause for some unknown our Malshis (Occy and Sally) don't like the dogs in it and they bark and cry through it until we turn it off but they are usually okay with most dog movies. I have never had a blue chocolate cake before but it sounds good and I enjoy making cakes too but sometimes it is easier just to get them from the Cheesecake Shop and cheaper in some cases too.

Our Free to Air channels have messed us around witch some shows and Channel 9 was pretty bad with 'Arrow' and 'Gotham' and would take them off for months but Foxtel thankfully picked them up and we get all the DC Shows the same week they air them in America except for 'Supernatural' which Channel 10 still own the rights for and sometimes they are only a few weeks behind with that show and other times they have been a lot further behind and with the final season coming up I am hoping they don't make us wait too long. Season 4 of 'Arrow' was the worst and I think it picked up a bit again in Season 5 and Season 6 wasn't entirely bad either but the latest season felt like a mess at times and was very confusing. I am interested in seeing how Batwoman fits into it all and the Bat Family in the Arrowverse and Supergirl is going to be appearing in the 'Batwoman' show in a couple of episodes.
I heard the sad news about 'Krypton' being cancelled and am very disappointed 'cause we were enjoying this season and looking forward to seeing where they were going with the story with Braniac heading to earth and Seg teaming up with Lobo to go after him and I think we would have seen Seg get superpowers and had a big face off with Braniac in the final episode and it is not too late for them to do that if it got picked up for one last season or even a TV movie to end it and I am hoping the DC Universe picks it up and at least gives it an ending 'cause I hate how it has ended continued and we don't know where Nyssa is now and most likely will never find out. I am not sure what they were planning on doing with the 'Lobo' show 'cause it looked like he was going to be a bigger part of Season 3 of 'Krypton' with him teaming up with Seg so it must have been going to be based after 'Krypton' in the future and had no ties since he would have been in both at the same time. Still very disappointed and this is like the 5th show we have watched in the last 5 years that has been cancelled and didn't get a proper ending and they should let shows like this wrap up their story.

We're about to go into autumn here. Warm weather is nice, but I prefer cooler weather so it'll be a most welcome change. Cold, rainy days also mean I can stay indoors and watch movies/TV shows with a good conscience.

I like animal movies, too, but I usually go for animated animal movies. They're 'safer' in a way, as I try to avoid watching sad animal movies. They always make me cry.
Yes, I hate it when they cancel shows before they've had the chance to wrap up their stories properly. I was deeply disappointed when Netflix cancelled Santa Clarita Diet, The Punisher and Daredevil.
Yes, one can only hope that another network will pick up Krypton and give it another chance. Fingers crossed.
