Actually, no. Jurassic Park used to be the #1 all-time highest-grossing movie, but it was #1 for only 4 and 1/2 years and then Titanic became #1 and now Avatar is #1. Titanic and Avatar weren't just movies that simply came afterward. Titanic and Avatar are movies that knocked Jurrassic Park off the perch and became the current standard.
That's what's going to happen with MCU and the DCEU. Like Jurassic Park, the MCU had their run at the top (while the DCEU was still being planned), but now that the DCEU is moving forward, it's going to pass MCU and knock MCU off the perch the same way that Titanic and Avatar knocked Jurassic Park off the perch and the DCEU will become the new standard the same way that Titanic and then Avatar have become the current standard.
Good then, if the DCEU is the one that was foretold to rise, why is it here selling the good word to non-believers? Is it a prophet? Shouldn't it be comfortable in its absolute certainty of DCEU supremacy. Is its faith shaken, or is it like a Jehovah's Witness compelled to go from thread to thread preaching the good word from the WB Board Room? Obliged to go out into encampments of its enemies with only the armor of overpowered superhero truth.
