Four of the first five picks in the 1989 Draft are in the Hall of Fame. Derrick Thomas went at #4 and Deion Sanders went at #5. And Mandarich was the best prospect. I think he never gave up a sack in his last two seasons at Michigan State. A lot of Cowpoker fans were pissed that they took Troy Aikman and not Mandarich.
