I hated Catherine Zeta-Jones. She looked, sounded and acted nothing like Olivia de Havilland. Kathy Bates was an unrecognizable Joan Blondell, chosen only because both actresses were/are fat.
When Zeta-Jones purred, "Fewhds are never about hate. FEWHDS are about...pain," I almost it. And her recreation of the trailer from Lady in a Cage looked like something we'd see on the Carol Burnett Show.
