it has plenty in common with Star Wars, Dr Who, Star Trek, etc. In fact it was better than the Prequels. Nope, GotG1 was a piece of crap and nothing like the Star Wars or Star Trek movies. GOTG had a GOOD scene with Howard. The Howard the Duck scene was a lame scene. DC can't even give us a good scene with Superman. DC had the most famous and iconic scene in CBM history and that scene had Superman in it. In Superman: The Movie, Superman makes his first public save by flying up, catching Lois, and then catching the falling helicopter with one hand, all while John Williams' epic theme is playing. That's the most famous and iconic scene in CBM history. So how does this work? In its fantasy, do all "Marvel Zombies" kneel before it capitulating to the grandeur of the DCEU? What makes its dream live? |
