PreachCaleb That's odd because on games like Mortal Kombat 3 the six button layout on the surface more closely resembles the arcade button layout. it's just all around easier to use if you ask me. like the trigger button feels less natural then using your thumb to do all of the button combo's on the surface of the controller where as with the trigger you got to use your finger/thumb. I am not saying the trigger is horrible, but it's less optimal for a game like Mortal Kombat 3. p.s. but at this point in time I would not even bother playing games like Mortal Kombat 3 etc on Genesis/SNES since we have access to superior versions like the arcade version on the MAME emulator etc. I just found it easier since I already had a finger on the trigger, it saved me having to move my thumb over. Plus, I was never one for arcades.
