I use to think Ordinary people winning over Raging Bull was a huge injustice but I re-watched it recently and it's not that big of a gap for me anymore. Both are great movies in their own regards.
I hear you, they're both such great movies. I do think it was an injustice that Mary Tyler Moore didn't win the Oscar for her performance, same for Donald Sutherland. Being that Spacek is my 10th favorite female performance of all time, I can't agree with you there. |
