See pages 33-37 of the thread, What movie did YOU just FINISH watching? for some of my Robert Wise movie reviews.
My goal was to try to see as many Robert Wise movies as possible without reviewing those that I was already familiar with... I even added a few (as repeat viewings) that I was already familiar with.
I think Wise spent a lot of time and money on The Sand Pebbles (1966).
It would be interesting to see the production costs (in today's dollars) of his different movies.
By the way, I disagree with Orson Wells about The Magnificent Ambersons (1942). I think it is a masterpiece, though I don't know which parts were finished by Robert Wise.
