As ashamed as I am to say it, probably yes. And the movie is Casablanca.
Don't get me wrong here, I could probably still love a girl who didn't like Casablanca--the filmmaking, the acting, even a particular character. My point is that, if she despised the principles of that movie, we probably could not form any kind of connection, because the film so represents what I believe to be true love and the principles that I try to fight for.
Very few people, even those who think Casablanca overrated (which I don't--not by any means), hate its principles.
(I write this because I know someone who does, for reasons that he never could really articulate at least to me. I think he's the only person I know who does.)
I am enough of a traditionalist and a romantic to believe in things like true love and the moral virtues, and those would be important in my falling in love with a girl. That's why I choose this one.
