It is impressive compared to a Skinemax movie. It is unimpressive compared to Basic Instinct. They are going about it much differently though. Wild Things is more self aware of how trashy it is. Basic Instinct has a sort of pretense to it. Eh, those end credits of WT are pretty self-congratulatory. BI is a Verhoeven movie, so there's always the question of how much of it is a pisstake. LOL, wow!
