I liked it but not as much as ALIEN. I was disappointed how feeble the regular aliens were--they seemed too easily killed, and found some of the marines annoying. I think I saw it twice. The alien queen was pretty cool especially for the first time when it emerges.
I can't remember it being shown in advance in the advertising. I still have the Making Of magazine.
