That’s about what it took for Evie and Terry Foster of Virginia Beach to scratch off one serious bucket-list item. The couple visited all 30 Major League Baseball parks in four months. They made sure they saw a full game at each park. “Never missed one pitch,” Terry said. To pull off the feat, the husband relied on the wife’s extreme planning skills and her ability to hit curveballs when Mother Nature decided to throw one. Visiting all of the parks in one season isn’t that rare, but no one really knows how many people pull it off. “We met a guy who said he had done it 17 years in a row,” Terry said. They bought all their tickets through StubHub and stayed at Airbnbs. SpotHero was their source for parking passes. They brought two scorebooks and kept score for every game. They started at SunTrust Park in Atlanta for a Braves-New York Mets game on April 12 and finished with a makeup game at Progressive Field in Cleveland to watch the Indians play the Texas Rangers on Aug. 23.
