Movies that would have been huge hits if the lead had been

I couldn't imagine Copycat without its 2 female leads. They work in well with the movie's plot and theme. It never even crossed my mind that the leads should have been male and that it would have been better if the gender roles were reversed. The 2 killers were psychos with aberrant sexual issues regarding women. I am not so sure it would have worked so well, had it been 2 female psycho's with aberrant male sexual issues and 2 male leads, one with agoraphobia because he was attacked in a rest room by one of the psycho women. Even if it was a psycho dude that attacked him, the male dynamic is different to that of a female. Weaver's fear was projected more feasibly onto her.
