Ironically, he only made the new Jay and Silent Bob movie because he couldn't make Clerks 3 (or Mallrats 2). I guess they're not even trying to hide who didn't want to come back anymore.
I suppose that's why they're chucking the original script they had - it was repurposed to be a Jay and SB movie.
So I'm not sure I should be looking forward to either. One is a Frankenstein's monster that went from Clerks to Mallrats to Jay and SB, the other is being written on the fly just because Anderson finally pulled the stick out of his ass.
